Bouquet: Sparkling, fruity, green, with hints of gin in the head. It brings delicately aromatic and dry woody nuances.

Origin: Juipus communis derives from the Celtic Juniperus meaning "bitter" because of the taste of its fruit and from the Latin Communis meaning common. This quality of juniper differs from the more common 'Juniperus oxycedrus' in that its needles have one white stripe instead of two and its fruit is smaller and darker.

Extraction: Juniper oil is obtained by steam distillation of its fruits.
