Dominique Ropion trained at Roure Bertrand Dupont in Grasse, then in Paris before joining Jean-Luc Sieuzac, on of the greatest technicians in perfumery. A star perfumer at IFF, his work stands out thanks to a mix of precision and freedom, to his taste for risk and experimentation. Curious by nature, as perfectionist as watchmaker, he creates his accords in a methodical, patient and precise way. Dominique Ropion likes combining opposites to unveil new equilibriums and surprising formulas. He is a daring, instinctive, yet also very rigorous formulator. A man who is particularly inventive, an extraordinary technician.

Distinctive note: LMR* Ylang Ylang

Fragrance:the ylang ylang is a warm solar flower, with tiaré undertones. Its salty note gives the flower vibrant green hues. Velvety and beguiling, the ylang ylang unleashes femininity. The vanilla base makes it warm and captivating.

Origin: originating from Madagascar, the ylang ylang has always been used to prepare balms and perfumes. Its unmistakable signature gives volume to the floral hearts, adding spicy undertones.

Extraction: the ylang ylang is usually distilled as an essence. With Ylang Absolute, the prestigious LMR laboratory in Grasse offers a version obtained by extraction with a solvent that unleashes new facets never previously exploited.
